Dominique Bergantino has held a number of roles at Havas; most recently, CEO of digital experience agency Inviqa

Havas has promoted Dominique Bergantino, formerly CEO of digital experience agency Inviqa, to chief operations officer of Havas Village London – a new role for the business, aimed at super-charging collaboration between its 20+ King’s Cross-based agencies. She will report into Mark Whelan, Havas’ UK chairman and group chief creative officer.

With six years’ high-level experience across a number of Havas Village London agencies, including Havas London (creative), helia (CX) and Inviqa (digital experience), Bergantino brings a combination of in-depth, ‘under the bonnet’ experience, unique insight, and strong existing relationships to the role.

Bergantino will work alongside Havas’ UK group leadership team, including Whelan, Alan Adamson (chief financial officer) and Tracey Barber (global chief transformation and growth officer, Havas Creative Network), as well as agency leaders and new business teams spanning disciplines including creative, media, health, PR, CX and production, to strengthen inter-agency integration across pitches and existing client opportunities by operationalising Havas’ inherently collaborative culture.

She will also champion cross-agency initiatives aimed at growth, such as unifying and productising sector-specific expertise sitting within individual agencies, and drive the adoption and implementation of Havas’ Converged strategy and operating system across Havas Village London.

Building on the success of Havas’ Together Strategy and the unique Village approach launched in 2014, Converged empowers global collaboration – uniting teams so they can ‘Converge’ around complex client challenges and identify distinctive creative solutions. It leverages Havas’ standout creativity, media, and production capabilities, powered by the best data, technology and AI, bringing its global networks and agencies even closer to help drive positive business outcomes for clients’ businesses.

Mark Whelan, chairman and group chief creative officer at Havas UK said, “With three senior roles across our agencies under her belt and exceptional leadership, new business and client relationship experience, I’m excited about what Dom can bring to the Village. She has the perfect blend of experience and energy for the role, and I’m looking forward to seeing our uniquely integrated set-up realised even further.”

Dominique Bergantino, chief operations officer, Havas Village London added, “There’s already a great collaborative culture within Havas Village London – but with brands’ requirements getting more complex and briefs more competitive, we need to go even further, even faster. Effective, client-friendly, drama-free integration requires specific focus – it doesn’t happen by chance – and I’m excited by the opportunity to drive that across the Village.”

Bergantino joined Havas in 2018, first as managing partner at Havas London before being promoted to managing director of helia in 2019 – where she was key to a run of major account wins including Starbucks, Compare the Market and Volkswagen Group. Since 2023, she has been CEO of Havas’ digital experience agency Inviqa. Moving forward, the agency will be led by existing Chief Operating Officer Dominic Feenan.

She previously spent a combined 12 years over two spells at OgilvyOne, leading accounts including British Airways, Public Health England and BT, as well as a stint at AIS as business director on O2.
