Rainger & Rolfe launch a campaign to celebrate the successful introduction of the Dosh Visa card with Director Harriett Maire. A dream brief, there’s nothing Harriett loves more than a story that puts performance front and centre.
“My directorial focus was giving these spots a fresh, cheeky and relatable feel. There was such a deep level of creative trust throughout the process - I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive client and creative agency”, says director Harriett Maire.
“This campaign was all about putting the Dosh card on the map with like-ability, wit and great scripts. Right from the start, we wanted the consumer to see how this could be so much more than just a smarter way to make payments. Credit must also go to Film Construction and Harriett Maire, who took our work to the next level with great casting and extraordinary direction. Just look at the timing, the suspense and the sound design,” says Kelly Putter, ECD at Rainger & Rolfe.
Dosh launched late last year, it was the first truly mobile wallet. Offering instant payments at any merchant with a Visa-enabled terminal. The Dosh Card is a debit card linked to a Dosh account on your smartphone, which enables in-store and online purchases wherever Visa is accepted.
“Directing can be a bit like matchmaking. When casting a group of friends, you’re working to find the perfect combination of dynamics that feels familiar and comfortable. A group of people with natural camaraderie. We struck gold. By an hour into the shoot, it was like our core four had been friends for life”, adds Harriett.
This is the first time money can be sent and received instantly, 24/7 and immediately available to spend from a card. Dosh is a true innovator in the financial services space.
