Guy Andrews has signed a record deal with Fabric’s Houndstooth Label. The label, published by Manners McDade, includes artists such as Snow Ghosts, 18+ and Aïsha Devi.
The
London based producer is best known for creating textural electronic music,
combining an array of influences from post-rock, techno, ambient and afrobeat.
This blending of genres is extended in Andrews’ debut single with Houndstooth, In 'Autumn Arms', out on 13th
November, with melancholic guitar lines, string ensemble and intense
distortions.
'In Autumn Arms' captures the tone of the album, 'Our Spaces', to be released on Houndstooth in March 2016. Andrews, on the album and signing, said:
“I wrote the album without a label in mind, and when it was done Houndstooth just seemed like the absolute perfect fit. They’ve really helped me complete the aesthetic and put out a record I’m truly proud of.”
