GUT Amsterdam has named Meme Traverso head of business, bolstering the agency's leadership team in the Netherlands. In her new role, Meme will lead client relationships, drive business growth, and oversee operations while mentoring the brand leadership team. She will work closely with Eva Rausch, managing director for GUT Europe.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Meme relocated to Amsterdam two years ago and brings a global perspective shaped by her experience working with top local and international brands such as Diageo, Samsung, Philip Morris, SC Johnson, Pepsico, Mercado Libre, Bayer, and Ford. She began her career as a journalist in Argentina before transitioning into advertising, where she quickly made her mark.
"Meme has an incredible ability to spot potential in people, businesses, and ideas," said Eva Rausch, managing director of GUT Europe. "Her leadership will be key in driving GUT Amsterdam forward, and I'm thrilled to have her take on this new role."
Meme has been part of the network for over five years, delivering award-winning work for brands including Globant, AB InBev, Kraft-Heinz, ING, Coca-Cola, and Foodora. Her people-first leadership style, relentless drive to make things happen, and commitment to the agency's creative and cultural growth have been hallmarks throughout her tenure. And Meme’s work has been recognised by Effies, Clios, Cannes Lions, and more.
"These past two years in Amsterdam have been an incredible opportunity to learn and grow with the agency," said Meme. "I'm excited to continue to help build GUT Amsterdam into the most creative, diverse, and successful agency in the Netherlands and across Europe."
GUT aims to become one of the most diverse, creative, and influential networks in Europe and beyond.
