The Golden Drum has announced that it will host Riku Vassinen, creative strategist and CEO of one of Finland's leading agencies, hasan & partners, at this year's awards.
With an illustrious career spanning three continents - Africa, Asia, and Europe - Riku has worked with top brands like Google, Nike, Netflix and Coca-Cola. Before returning back to native Finland to lead Finland´s leading independent agency hasan & partners, Riku spent three years at Ogilvy Africa, based in Nairobi and seven years in Singapore working in R/GA & JWT. He's also an accomplished author. His latest book 'Greenwashing Economics' delves into the challenges of building sustainable brands in an unsustainable world.
At the Golden Drum stage, Riku will challenge the industry’s fixation with an overreaching brand purpose that has led to a loss of focus, and instead, uncover the most sustainable ways to build enduring brands – by integrating creativity and humour into the approach.
