German Jury Day for The Immortal Awards Sees 4 Finalists Make It Through

Held in partnership with Zauberberg Productions, the day decided which projects will go on to represent the market at the regional European round of judging on Friday 20th October


The Immortal Awards returned to Germany last week for the second in-person jury of the year, marking the halfway point in this year’s European jury sessions. 

The day was supported for the second consecutive year by Zauberberg Productions, who played host to a jury from the market’s agency, production and post worlds.

The session saw a shortlist of 21 projects, which scored highest in the first round of online judging, discussed and debated by a jury from the market.

Following an afternoon of free-flowing and thought provoking deliberations as each piece of work was considered, a grand total of four projects made the cut as German Finalists.

The Immortal Awards 2023 German Finalists are:

audibene / hear.com - Jump ’n’ Hear: A Roblox Hearing Game (submitted by Grabarz & Partner)



Borussia Dortmund - A Hand Ball That Could Save Your Life (submitted by Accenture Song Germany)



Junge Helden e.V. - #OPTINK (submitted by McCann Paris)    



Transklar e.V. / Trans-Ident e.V. / Rosa Strippe e.V.-  Saved Memories (submitted by Serviceplan Germany)    



The four projects will go up against the Finalists from the other European jury days - including the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Spain and the Nordics - as well as the best work from around the region at the European round of judging on Friday, October. 20th. Those on this year’s German jury were: Chiara Chessa, creative director at Innocean Berlin; Till Diestel, chief creative officer at Serviceplan Germany; Leila El-Kayem, executive creative director at Anomaly Berlin; Fabian Frese, former chief creative officer at Accenture Song Germany; Myriam Fynecontry-Herke, executive creative director at Wunderman Thompson Germany; Frank Hahn, chief creative officer and BBDO Group Germany; Shai Hirschson, global executive creative director at MassiveMusic Berlin; Jens Schröder, executive creative director at Grey Germany; and Frank Siegl, managing partner and executive producer at Zauberberg Productions.
