Lots of people ask me what Little Black Book is all about. They want to know what our editorial remit is. What we are trying to prove? Are we trying to be clever and, if not, why not? My answer probably seems a little simple, but it's very straight-forward. Little Black Book is about people. That's all we want to talk about and share. The people who exist within the creative industries, who create the amazing work that we cover, who inspire others, who have amazing talents; be they creative, organised, practical, technical, strong characters, strategic thinkers or just really good folk. These are the people that make our industry exciting and interesting and that maintain the constant feeling of expectancy.
Talking about people, and being good people ourselves, we only look for the good in others. You'll never hear an unkind word here on LBBOnline.com. We want to promote others, to recommend and, as such, we have no interest in the pessimistic or sarcastic. As Editor, I'm in a very fortunate position. My role is to hunt down and find great people. To spend time with them, find out what makes them tick, what inspires them, what they do to help others, talk about the great work that they create, to find new and exciting talent, to hear the exciting stories of others from across the globe. If you, like us, want to concentrate on the positive and see the best in what we do, then Little Black Book is for you.
