London-based creative agency Founded announces the appointment of Cameron Day as Director of Business Development.
The appointment follows Founded’s recent triumph at the MAA Best Awards, where it won breakthrough agency of the year.
Cameron joins Founded from The Marketing Store, where he was New Business Development Director for Europe. He previously held global business development roles at agencies including Iris and RPM.
With 18 years of industry experience, Cameron has helped agencies to win a diverse range of global brands including Adidas, MINI, Carlsberg, Sainsbury’s, Diageo, PlayStation and Coca-Cola.
Cameron is also Chair of the New Business Group for the Marketing Agencies Association, where he is responsible for industry engagement around the issues facing agency growth and innovation.
Richard Perry, Partner at Founded, commented: “We’re excited to have Cameron join us, we’re an ambitious bunch and Cameron’s role is vital to achieving this.”
On his new role Cameron said: "There are two types of agencies - those that are about trying to keep up, and those like Founded that have a clear view of the future, because they know where they want to be.
“Founded has a distinct point of view, and a very clear proposition. It has a focus on strategy and insight, but always with a commercial agenda. I also think its work has the right balance across digital and traditional media, providing a really strong platform for growth. These things are vital for any agency to thrive in the future, and I’m delighted to be joining Founded and its mission to move people.”
