Global creative collective, Forsman & Bodenfors has been honoured with Gold, Silver and Bronze at the Effie Awards Europe 2024, recognising the agency's exceptional creativity and effectiveness in advertising.

The accolades were awarded for the agencies two standout campaigns with Gold and Silver to "Sweden (not Switzerland)" for Visit Sweden, and Bronze to "World's Strongest Women" for Allianz Ireland.

"When you combine humour, insights, creativity, courage, and amazing collaboration that both entertains and engages the audience, something extraordinary happens. This campaign is proof of that. Daring to be bold and break the category language is essential – as long as you do it authentically. Thank you, Forsman & Bodenfors,” said Nils Persson, CEO Visit Sweden.

These awards underscore Forsman & Bodenfors' commitment to delivering campaigns that blend creativity with measurable impact. The success of both "Sweden (not Switzerland)" and "World's Strongest Women", exemplifies the creative collectives ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate globally and drive meaningful results.

"We are immensely proud of these achievements. Both campaigns reflects our dedication to pushing creative boundaries while delivering tangible outcomes for our clients. Being recognized at the Effie Awards Europe, is a testament to the hard work and innovation of our teams," said James Jenkins, CEO Forsman & Bodenfors Sweden.

The awarded “Sweden (not Switzerland)" for Visit Sweden work:

Gold, category: Multi Market: Small Budget

Silver, category: Multi Market: Travel, Transport & Tourism

Forsman & Bodenfors’s innovative campaign addressed the common confusion between Sweden and Switzerland. By humorously proposing a formal agreement to distinguish the two nations, the campaign achieved over 1,000 articles in 45 countries, reaching a potential audience of 1.4 billion. This creative approach significantly boosted global interest in Sweden as a travel destination.

The awarded "World's Strongest Women" for Allianz Ireland work

Bronze, category: Best of Europe: Small Budget

Developed by Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin in partnership with Women's Aid, this campaign redefined perceptions of domestic abuse survivors, portraying them as the "world's strongest women." The initiative not only restored Allianz Ireland's brand trust but also led to a 302% increase in contacts to Women's Aid, empowering countless women to seek help.

In addition to these Effie Awards, Forsman & Bodenfors Canada received the “Youth Favourite” ACT Care award at the ACT Responsible Tribute for their impactful campaign "The Body Bag For Her," created for Aura Freedom. This campaign drew attention to gender-based violence in an innovative and arresting manner, reinforcing the agency’s dedication to tackling pressing societal issues through creative excellence.
