Buster joins Fold7 from Anomaly, where for the last three years, he held the position of strategy director

Fold7, the global creative advertising and digital agency, has appointed Buster Stonham as strategy director. 

Buster brings broad skills across data analytics, research, comms planning and brand strategy plus a raft of experience with major global brands as well as disruptive local ones. Some notable names include MINI global, Android, Captain Morgan and Gordon’s Gin from the Diageo portfolio and Bulb energy. In 2022 he penned and picked up an Effie and was awarded a silver Cannes LION for his work on Ancestry campaign, Bring Your Backstory To Life.

He has also led meaningful campaigns to change business and society for the better, such as the Campaign BIG and D&AD winning Grenfell United campaign that shone a spotlight on unsafe homes in the UK.

Buster’s appointment is representative of Fold7’s expanding portfolio and skill sets. He will be working across a number of the agency's client roster, reporting into chief strategy officer, Yelena Gaufman, who said, “Buster is an incredibly talented hybrid strategist who understands the new expectations consumers have of brands. He is the perfect fit for Fold7- ambitious and generous in equal measure. We’re so excited to have him join us in our mission to build rock-solid brands that roll with culture.”

Buster joins Fold7 from Anomaly, where for the last three years, he held the position of strategy director.

During his time at Anomaly, Buster contributed to pitch wins including Vodafone and Ancestry. He led the global strategy for Android, managing teams across the USA, Germany and the UK. He also developed the global digital strategy for MINI and led the creation and delivery of multiple product launch campaigns, including MINI’s new generation of electric cars.
