PT Puncak Finansial Utama has named J. Walter Thompson Jakarta as Agency of Record for CekAja.com, Indonesia’s largest financial e-commerce company.
CekAja.com, an online supermarket for financial and insurance products, serves close to 3 million unique customers each month. The portal allows customers to compare and apply for personal loans, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, vehicle financing, as well as vehicle insurance, property insurance and life insurance. The site is the only financial supermarket that offers multi-category products in Indonesia.
CekAja leverages their customer volume to obtain better deals for their customers. The platform was established in 2013 by Puncak Finansial, which has over 17 years of experience in the fintech and financial e-commerce space. CekAja is part of C88 Financial Technolgy, one of SE Asia's largest and fastest growing fintech companies with operations in Indonesia and the Philippines. C88 Financial has recently raised a Series B growth capital round, and its investors include Telstra Ventures, Monks Hill Ventures, Kejora Ventures, Altitude Partners and several Malaysian and Indonesian family offices.
J. Walter Thompson Jakarta, which won the mandate in a competitive pitch against nine other agencies, is tasked with creating integrated and multi-phase branding campaigns across digital and offline channels.
