Stunt from NORD DDB is in partnership with the Swedish national ski team
You might need a pair of skis to reach the Volkswagen Passat that’s been hidden somewhere in Sweden. But if you find it, you can have it.
The stunt, dreamt up by agency NORD DDB and in partnership with the national ski team, is called ‘The No Show Room.’ The competition is a scavenger hunt, basically. The person who finds the secret ‘showroom’ first - a mirrored box hidden somewhere int he snowy Swedish wilds - claims the car. The automaker has been dropping clues in various locations (including social media, of course) between January 2nd and January 21st.
To promote the hunt, the campaign includes TV spots, featuring members of the Swedish ski team passing the showroom in its stunning location, as well as social media, print and digital.
The model being given away is a Passat Alltrack 4MOTION, boasting four-wheel drive, higher ground clearance, emergency brakes for obstacles in the road, partial self-driving capability, and IQ.LIGHT reactive headlights that won't dazzle other drivers.
