New financial consultancy WY Partners launches today to provide specialist financial direction and counsel for creative, digital, marketing and PR agencies looking to transform their businesses.
Responding to the continuous growth and diversification of the media and marketing sectors around the world, WY Partners will help organisations who are undergoing moments of financial or structural change including mergers, acquisitions, restructures and repositioning. Abandoning the siloed approach of more traditional firms, WY Partners will ensure its clients one integrated, multi-discipline team.
Launching with AdKnowledge as its first client with activity in Europe, US and Far East, the firm consists of four people with speedy growth anticipated and some new appointments revealed in early 2015.
Founders William Ritchie and Yannick Laniel conceived the consultancy following over 30 years of experience working with marketing, media and technology firms as well as household names such as British Airways, AOL and Travelex. Scotsman Ritchie moves from his role in Transaction Services at WPP while native Canadian Laniel left his FD position at a US-based digital media firm.
