Fairphone Appoints Weber Shandwick for European Expansion

Fairphone, the industry leader in long-lasting sustainable electronics, has appointed Weber Shandwick, the earned-first global communications agency, to lead earned media campaigns in the UK and Europe. This follows a competitive pitch process and the partnership is effective immediately. Weber Shandwick will serve as the retained PR agency for Fairphone in the Netherlands, the UK, France and Germany. The business will be based out of Weber Shandwick’s Netherlands hub office.

Tasked with delivering impactful earned media content, Weber Shandwick will highlight Fairphone's unique approach to consumer electronics, which is transforming the industry by redefining how devices are built and produced. The agency aims to enhance brand awareness across key European markets.
