The Comms Council is thrilled to announce the Executive Judges for the 2023 Pressie Awards, the industry awards show for recognition of excellence in PR, Experiential, and Social campaigns. This judging panel comprises experienced professionals who will ensure a thorough evaluation of all this year's entries.
Meet the Judges:
1. Ashwin Gopal - Creative Director at TBWA, brings a wealth of experience to the table with outstanding achievements, including a prestigious Yellow Pencil at D&AD in 2020. At TBWA, Ashwin has consistently delivered notable work for respected New Zealand brands such as ANZ Bank, Southern Cross, Fletcher Living, and 2degrees. He emphasises earned media as a crucial metric for assessing the effectiveness of creative ideas.
2. Eleisha Balmer - Head of Adhesive PR NZ, boasts over a decade of experience in helping businesses like Dyson, SEEK, Specsavers, Los Angeles Tourism, and Accor Hotels leverage earned and integrated communications strategies.
3. Gina McKinnon - CEO of Content Omnicom Media Group NZ/APAC, brings over 20 years of experience in communication, content, sports marketing, and PR. She is known for her advocacy of content integration across channels, advising major brands, and receiving numerous awards globally.
4. Jack Murphy – A Strategic Planner with over a decade of advertising experience across diverse markets, has a track record of collaborating with renowned brands to achieve tangible commercial results through strategic thinking.
5. Tania Bui - With an impressive 25-year career, has held executive roles in global marketing strategy and the successful launch of a digital media and advertising agency.
Her leadership roles in the tourism sector and governance positions in the public and not-for-profit sectors have contributed to her seasoned expertise.
