Ewan is keen to explore the opportunities out there for independent directors.
“I had the opportunity to begin my filmmaking career in-house at some very ambitious agencies, developing my craft working alongside some highly experienced producers and creative teams. Now feels like the right time to begin forging a path as a freelance director. Olivia and Karen are not only lovely people to work with but they represent some incredible talent. Signing with Johnny Foreigner is a really exciting step forward for me, with all the opportunities, experience and connections they bring.”
Olivia Hirschberg, Johnny Foreigner said “Ewan was recommended to me by an EP in the industry whose judgement is impeccable. So when he got in touch it was a case of, yeah let’s do this.”
Karen James, Johnny Foreigner added “Supporting directors in the direction they want to travel is part of what we do as agents. With such a pedigree in character-driven narratives Ewan is on a clear path to success in filmmaking.”
