Last night (Jan 20), Arts & Letters Creative Co. brought back the new and dazzling 'ESPN Big Ring', which made its debut at the College Football Playoff National Championship where Ohio State took home the big win over Notre Dame.
The 2025 'ESPN Big Ring' was designed to celebrate the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship and the notable first year of the 12-team playoff.
The Ring design represented everything that makes this year’s CFP National Championship unique: the host-city of Atlanta, the bracket for the first ever 12-team playoff, diamonds that represent every team in Division One college football, and the partnership between ESPN and the CFP that brings us these games.
The rings were showcased in Atlanta during Fan Fest and other fan events throughout the weekend leading up to last night's game.
"With the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff, we knew we had to bring Big Rings back in a bigger way to Atlanta to help us celebrate the culmination of a truly unique and unexpected season,” said Curtis Friends, VP of sports marketing, ESPN. “Doubling down on our CFB truth of "there's never been a season, playoff or national championship like this," Big Rings embody what has made this year special and memorable for fans, players, coaches and teams alike."
