Continuing in its efforts to target passionate sports fans for the Disney Bundle, ESPN is launching its latest spot, 'Unbeatable,' designed around a coach describing what it takes to build the perfect team. The spot showcases the Disney Bundle's unmatched star power through cameos from an unparalleled collection of characters across Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+, reminding fans that the strongest qualities in building the sports teams’ they love the most - natural born leaders, old vets, youngsters, tough cookies, pranksters, no-so-silent types, and those with chips on their shoulder and ice in their veins - can also be found in Disney+ and Hulu content.
The work was created in partnership with Austin creative agency Preacher and uses a mix of footage from sports moments, TV shows, and films to show how the Disney Bundle provides fans with entertaining stories in all formats.
‘Unbeatable’ launches across ESPN networks today.
“We began referring to the Disney Bundle as streaming’s greatest team almost instantly, and this spot was our chance to bring that idea to life – a coach, cut from the Knute Rockney cloth, philosophising about the special mix of personalities any great roster needs,” said Kellyn Blount & Greg Hunter, ECDs at Preacher. “While other spots in the campaign focus more on the moments or the action you’ll find throughout the three services, this one is all about the characters. And thanks to Peter Jackson’s upcoming documentary, we were able to end on The Beatles, one of the greatest teams of all time.”
The Disney Bundle is a one-stop streaming subscription offer that gives customers the power to build and customise their video subscription plan with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
