Adrian Hyde said: “It’s been a whirlwind first year, but Engine Room is meeting a growing demand for strategically-led digital screen content for the ‘always-on’ online audience. The production industry has experienced some tough times over the past few years, but our model has been designed for clients who are increasingly turning to digital first content creation.
“Damien has a wealth of experience in short film production and brings valuable knowledge and insight to the business. We are delighted he has joined the team and are looking forward to the next 12 months.”
Engine Room has recently finished a series of special films for Camp Gallipoli to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Anzac. They included all of Australia’s past and current Victoria Cross recipients and also included contributions from Ray Martin, Shane Warne and Shannon Noll.
To mark the first 12 months in business it produced this reel as a snapshot of the journey so far. It has also recently been named as a finalist in the production category at the Mumbrella Awards.
