CLIF BAR debuted a new OOH campaign by DAVID New York celebrating the energy of runners making their way around NYC during yesterday’s big event. The NYC-specific campaign highlights the toughness, wit, and resilience that Big Apple residents are famous for. With lines like 'Energy to Keep Running Against All Odds. Like the G Train,' the campaign connects with New Yorkers using humour that can brighten even the longest of commutes. The campaign celebrates the uniqueness of NYC, the legendary athletes racing across boroughs, and the everyday 'New Yawkers' (or 'New Yorkers' to those outside the tri-state area) who did cheer on runners citywide on Sunday.
“This NYC race is such an iconic sporting event, so we wanted to celebrate not only those who run it but also those who support them, and the energy it takes for New Yorkers to get around the city every day - with commutes that can feel like endurance events of their own.” said André Toledo, CCO at DAVID NY.

The 'New York Energy' campaign will have OOH components, including street level digital panels and the creative will also appear on Subway entrance screens along the event’s route with a heavy presence in Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens. The campaign goes live on Friday, Nov 1st, 2024 and creative will run through Wednesday, Nov 6th.
