Acclaimed actor, comedian, writer, and director Seb Cardinal has joined Curate Films’s roster. Known for his diverse and dynamic talent, Seb is one half of the celebrated comedy duo Cardinal Burns, whose unique brand of humour earned them a spot on The Guardian’s list of the top 50 comedians of the 21st century.
From his unapologetically quirky and button-pushing Irn Bru campaign to his impeccable casting choices, Seb’s work resonates deeply with the Curate ethos of celebrating left-of-centre talent that speaks to the heart of the unconventional.
Seb’s recent credits showcase his versatility across television, film, and stage. He’s been seen in Netflix’s A Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou, starred in the second series of the hit show After Life alongside Ricky Gervais, and played a lead role in the BBC pilot Bumps. Seb has also featured in This Time with Alan Partridge as Tommy Chaucer and starred opposite Robert Downey Jr. in The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.
Currently, Seb is working on an exciting, top-secret project with the esteemed Julia Davis – a collaboration that we can’t wait to reveal.
Dan Dickenson, managing director at Curate, had this to say, “We’re really happy Seb decided to join, his quirky, cheeky comedy is a great market fit. Coupled with his writing, he fits the Curate team perfectly.”
Seb Cardinal says, “I’m really happy to be joining Curate, we have flirted for a while now, so its good to finally seal the deal, I can’t wait to see some action!”
