Dentsu Group Inc. has announced that it has appointed Beth Ann Kaminkow as CEO, dentsu North America. Beth Ann brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving business and cultural transformation through creativity, media, and technology. As the new CEO of dentsu North America, she will oversee the integrated growth strategy and business execution for the market.

Previously serving as the global chief commerce officer and CEO NY at VML, Beth Ann was instrumental in growing the agency’s Commerce Practice and Enterprise Solutions globally, delivering leading-edge expertise for clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, SC Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, The Ford Motor Company, and Haleon, among others.

“We’re very proud to appoint Beth Ann as the leader of one of our most important markets, recognising her considerable experience and success in not only creating captivating and innovative offerings for clients, but leading teams to growth,” said Hiroshi Igarashi, president and Global CEO, dentsu. “The appetite for integrated growth solutions in this market is considerable, as brands look to agencies for true partnership and an unerring focus on driving outcomes. Dentsu is perfectly positioned to succeed in this environment, and we welcome Beth Ann to lead these efforts.”

With over 25 years of experience in retail and marketing, Beth Ann has held several key leadership positions, including global CEO of VMLY&R Commerce/Geometry, global CMO of Westfield Corp, CEO of Kantar Consulting, and the first female CEO at TracyLocke. She is also a founding member of a successful start up acquired by Omnicom and was recognised as an AdAge Women to Watch and a member of WPP's X-factor. She has served as a juror for prestigious programs such as D&ADs, EFFIEs, and the Cannes Lions Creative Commerce category.

"Dentsu’s reputation for cutting through the noise and building integrated solutions which drive impact for clients is well-known, but the innovation around data, technology and connected content which sits under the hood is a significant advantage which brands are now beginning to recognise,” said Beth Ann. “I see an untapped potential at dentsu, where the simplification and transformation of the business is maturing well ahead of the competition, and I am looking forward to working with the incredible leaders and team to realise our opportunities.”

Beth Ann’s role will be effective June 16th, 2025.
