Creative Circle and Global Launch ‘The Creative Town Hall’ to Inspire British Creativity

The Creative Town Hall kicks off with a series of events to inspire bold thinking in advertising

Creative Circle, a not-for-profit organisation owned by the UK’s creative community, and Global, the Media and Entertainment group, have joined forces to launch The Creative Town Hall (CTH) - a nationwide initiative to inspire creativity and elevate the influence of the UK’s creative advertising industry on a global stage.

The Creative Town Hall will kick off with a series of events across the UK with the first taking place on May 6th at Havas HQ titled 'Embrace the Crazy'. A second event is confirmed for July at the UK Creative Festival in Margate, with further locations to be announced.

Each event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and behind-the-scenes stories from rising stars and creative legends including Vicki Maguire, chief creative officer at Havas, Sue Higgs, executive creative director at mFuse, and Trevor Robinson OBE, founder of Quiet Storm - all designed to share wisdom and inspire creative innovation in advertising to achieve real-life impact.

Jeremy Green, CEO of Creative Circle, said, “Marking 80 years of Creative Circle championing UK creativity, the launch of The Creative Town Hall signals a bold new chapter. With a world class media company like Global on board, this initiative will bring together the country’s brightest creative minds to refocus the industry on what matters: big ideas, bold thinking, and human stories that shape culture.

It’s designed to ignite and build the UK’s creative spirit - an opportunity for creatives from every corner of the UK, at any level, to come together, challenge convention, build an amazing community and even more amazing work. It will be a chance to have honest conversations, meaningful collaboration, and to promote a shared belief in the power of creativity to inspire positivity and progress.”

To ensure broad access to The Creative Town Hall, students from Global Academy, a unique media school founded by Global, will film and edit each session into a podcast, hosted on Global Player - ensuring the conversations and inspiration continue far beyond the room.
