Following the release of their hit single 'Abracadabra,' the electric artist-duo continued their magic with a one-off, special, appearance that left attendees in awe at the famous Scottish Festival. Seamlessly blending in with the crowds with Wes wearing a bucket hat and sunglasses, the artists, who were not a part of the festival’s original line-up, made their way through the festival grounds to its funfair to take a ride on the dodgems.
With his simple disguise, Wes Nelson effortlessly jumped into a dodgem cart, raced around, and took a spin around the tracks with unsuspecting festival-goers, whilst Craig David slipped into the DJ booth. As they engaged with riders, suspicions started to grow, and soon the dodgems abruptly halted. Before anyone could react to the unexpected stop, Craig David swiftly revealed his identity and asked the crowd if they wanted to hear a couple of his most famous hits. Without hesitation, he launched into the all-time fan favourites 'Rewind' and '7 Days'. Wes Nelson then joined him, adding to the excitement by performing their latest summer hit, 'Abracadabra'.
The surprise appearance at the festival’s funfair added an electrifying boost to the start of the weekend’s festivities, marking it as one of the most unforgettable opening performances in the history of this iconic Glaswegian event.
