Covert and RTÉ have teamed up once again to create an inspiring new promo for the Olympics and Paralympics, celebrating the resilience and determination of Ireland’s athletes. Under the expert direction of Eoghan Liston, Covert delivered VFX work for two emotive spots, each spotlighting a different star on their journey to the Games.
The first spot introduces Jack Woolley, Ireland's first-ever Olympian in taekwondo, who is gearing up for the Olympics. Through a blend of live-action footage and striking visual effects, Jack's story is brought to life as he pushes the limits of his sport, embodying a relentless drive that has defined his career.
The second spot focuses on Britney Arendse, affectionately known as ‘Spartacus.’ Britney's name has become synonymous with strength and perseverance, and the ad captures her indomitable spirit as she trains for the Paralympic powerlifting event.
Both ads are more than just promos; they are a celebration of what it means to be a champion. With Covert’s visual storytelling expertise and RTÉ's commitment to bringing these stories to the forefront, the campaign not only amplifies the excitement for the Olympics and Paralympics but also honours the athletes who embody the true spirit of the Games.
