Common Industry Appoints D&AD Director Amanda Moorby as Managing Director

Common Industry has announced the appointment of Amanda Moorby as its managing director, strengthening the agency’s offering of brand strategy and business planning services to clients.

Amanda joins after a successful seven years as partnerships director at D&AD, where she was instrumental in developing the iconic creative industry brand’s commercial offering. She helped D&AD evolve from a globally recognised awards show into a truly diversified creative business in order to support its mandate to promote and inspire excellence in commercial creativity. Amanda will bring over 18 years experience working with some of the world’s most influential brands to Common Industry, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe and Unilever. 

Amanda will operate as managing director, reporting directly to the CEO, adding further business, creative brand strategy expertise to the team, which offers a suite of strategic communications and creative services to its clients.

The business, now in it fifth year, has enjoyed double digit growth year on year, and the appointment of a new MD into the senior leadership team will further reinforce it’s unique offering of strategically led PR and creative services.
