KFC France is launching a spectacular new brand film called 'Forever Crispy'. An ode to the authenticity of KFC secret recipe, signed Havas Paris.
“After two great ads centred on the brand’s origins, we needed to do something fresh,” explain Jordan Molina and Lu-dovic Miege, associate creative directors at Havas Paris. “This time, we decided to project KFC into the future. To show that the brand’s crispy chicken was, is and always will be the real deal, even when everything else has become artificial.”
It’s 2052. Two youngsters cruise around a retro-futuristic Paris in a flying car. In a world full of holograms and virtual reality, only one thing has stayed the same – the Colonel’s secret recipe. Times change but crispiness remains.
This new, visually impressive 52-second ad was directed by Romain Chassaing, produced by Solab and post-produced by Digital District. “With Romain Chassaing, we were able to create an atmosphere at the crossroads between Blade Runner and The Fifth Element, giving the brand unprecedented reach.”
The new ad features an all-new soundtrack, with a drill beat and seriously crispy lyrics. The track is an original composition by CLNL SNDRS, produced by HRCLS.
The campaign will run for three weeks on TV, VOL, OOH and DOOH, as well as on social media platforms Snap, Meta and TikTok. Serving as a prequel for what’s set to become the 'KFC Universe', it will be followed up in the coming days by a second instalment.
