Center Parcs UK is launching a series of charming idents for Sky Movies around the idea of sequels. The spots feature real families coming back to recreate classic photos taken over 20 years ago. The idents feature families, all of whom have cherished photos of themselves in the past at Center Parcs, and come back to try to recreate the same photo’s except this time the children have grown up in to adults and even have their own children.
The films will run as idents during Center Parcs sponsorship of Sky Movies as 30 sec, 20 sec and 10 sec films, starting Monday 14th November under the concept of sequels.
Andy Fowler founder and ECD of Brothers & Sisters said, “There is definitely a trend right now with old photos being recreated and they can be really emotional. When we got this brief we thought it would be wonderful to tap into the emotion of coming back to a cherished moment and try to recreate it. We shot them almost unscripted so that they would feel authentic and natural and the results are lovely.”
The spots were directed by Andrea Kapos from Dark Energy who specialises in working with real people and capturing stories in the most natural and unscripted way.
Colin Whaley, sales and marketing director at Center Parcs, says, “We know that families like to come together and watch films in the run up to Christmas, so this sponsorship is a great opportunity to remind them of the family time Center Parcs offers. We’re really excited to showcase Center Parcs to even more families through new creative and engaging formats.”
