Howatson+Company was the big winner from Australia and New Zealand at the Cannes Lions Festival of creativity over night, taking home multiple Silver Lions, for their campaign with 10:PM, '10:PM Matresses'.
Howatson+Company executive creative director Gavin Chimes said: “We’re thrilled to have been recognised across two very different projects. Testament to our ‘No house style’ philosophy and the culture of care we have for our people, clients and the work."
They join ANZ winners Special Group, and Colenso BBDO, who both won Gold a night earlier.
Howatson+Company also won a Bronze Lion for the Cannes Print & Publishing Lionsat the Cannes Print & Publishing Lions for their work with for Maurice Blackburn on the campaign ‘Exhibit A-i’.
Australian company FINCH was also in the winners, taking a Bronze Lion for their 'Reluctant Shanty Australia' campaign for UNHCR.
Corey Esse, managing director and executive producer at FINCH said: "Having judged the Craft Lions, I appreciate just how difficult it is to shortlist, let alone win, so it’s exciting to see so many Aussie directors and craft people do so well this year.”
