In a period of further growth and expansion, award-winning Boys + Girls, the Dublin based branded entertainment agency, has announced new appointments following a series of new business wins last year, including Accenture, Samsung, Kellogg’s, Roe & Co, Smithwicks and Mater Private Hospital.
The agency’s blue-chip client roster also includes Three Ireland, Energia, Ulster Bank, Dulux and Kerry Group.
Jack Murphy - Senior Planner
Jack joins Boys + Girls working across a range of clients with a focus on Three. A graduate of The University of Auckland with a B.A. in History and Art History in 2010, he has spent the last seven years at DDB in his native New Zealand. While there, he worked across a roster of that country’s biggest and most iconic brands including Westpac, BMW, MINI, ExxonMobil, The Warehouse, Volkswagen, McDonald's, Steinlager and Sky TV. Prior to that he dabbled in media and sold fine art and classic motorcycles.
Reflecting his passion for creativity and effectiveness, he’s a multi-award winner including two Gold Effie’s for the Re:scam campaign at the 2019 Asia Pacific Effie Awards, in addition to as well as five Gold Effie’s and Most Effective Client of the Year for Netsafe in New Zealand, (helping the agency to be named the 5th most effective in the world last year). Jack has worked across numerous advertising disciplines, from Account Planning to heading up Digital and Cultural strategy including Account Service and social copywriting.
Beth McDonnell - Account Manager
Beth has recently returned home from working in London and Sydney. During her time in London, she worked in the content agency, Seven, working on the Sainsbury's account and later moved to Havas London.
After four and a half years in London, Beth moved to Sydney and worked on the Westfield account (the large retail destinations in Australia and New Zealand). Now back in her native Dublin, at Boys + Girls, Beth will lend her expertise to a range of high-profile accounts ensuring best in class delivery for her clients.
Orla Kennedy - Account Manager
A graduate in advertising and marketing from The Institute of Technology Tallaght in 2016, Orla subsequently worked in Chemistry for three years primarily across accounts including Dunnes Stores & The Irish Examiner.
At Boys + Girls, she will join a team focused on delivering some of the most imaginative advertising in Ireland.
