Big Give, the UK’s largest match funding platform, has announced the launch of Earth Raise Live – a powerful new event set to become the annual, defining moment for environmental fundraising. Full-service communications agency, krow Group, created the visual identity for Earth Raise Live and the launch film to help drive awareness of the new initiative.
In partnership with Environmental Funders Network (EFN), WaterBear, and South Wind Blows, Earth Raise Live aims to unite cultural, musical, and environmental voices for one unforgettable, broadcastable event taking place on World Earth Day 2026. Running in conjunction with the event will be a one-week match funding campaign where people can donate via Big Give choose a specific environmental charity partner to give to, and anything donated will be doubled.
To kickstart momentum and secure corporate partners ahead of 2026, Big Give premiered a short, purpose-driven film created by krow Group at the launch event on the 22nd of April – hosted by Annie Mac and featuring performances from Aisling Bea and Declan McKenna.
From today, the film content will be live across social media including X, Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn. It introduces Earth Raise Live and showcases the vision behind this ambitious new movement.
Blake Armstrong, managing director of krow Group, said, "krow Group is all about making big positive impacts on the world, so we were naturally overjoyed to work with Big Give on the launch of Earth Raise Live. Helping to shape and launch a major UK environmental charity event is a huge opportunity — and one we feel privileged to support.
Working on this initiative has been a really important one for the team, bringing together environmental charities and creative voices to raise vital funds and awareness.”
Alex Day, managing director at Big Give added “We’ve seen what’s possible when we come together. Since launching our green campaign in 2021, we’ve raised over £15 million for hundreds of environmental charities and we’re aiming to raise a further £8 million through our 2025 campaign.
Just as Comic Relief has mobilised millions to tackle poverty, and Children in Need has transformed lives for under-18s, it’s time for the environment to have a mass movement of its own. The urgency of the climate crisis demands it.
With the support of our fantastic partners, EFN, WaterBear, and South Wind Blows, and the creative vision of krow Group behind our launch film, we’re laying the foundation for something truly powerful.
If you’re passionate about protecting the planet and want to be part of this movement, now’s the time. Get in touch and join us.”
