dentsu has announced the appointment of Ben Hewitt as chief commercial officer, media products.
In this new role for the agency, Ben will be responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy of dentsu’s data-driven, technology-enabled audience platform, Merkury, to drive value for dentsu and its clients. He will dual-report to Sean Reardon, CEO of dentsu’s Media practice in the Americas, and Shirli Zelcer, global chief data and technology officer.
Ben has an impressive career history that has focused on solving complex business problems with a client-centric approach. He joins the agency from Publicis Groupe, where he most recently served as president, groupe technology and data solutions and played a critical role in spearheading collaboration among the media organisation, Epsilon, and Sapient to develop innovative growth strategies for clients.
