Live music is back. And to celebrate its triumphant return, BACARDI is doing more than just throwing their logo on a tent or a tote bag to capture consumer attention.
Teaming up with BBDO New York and music festivals around the country, the rum brand is inviting festival goers to do what they already love to do at festivals: Dance. A lot. And thanks to their newly launched dance-tracking wristbands, music fans will be able to exchange all those dance moves for various perks and prizes at Gov Ball, Outside Lands, and EDC Orlando to unlock an even more memorable experience with their friends.
At any participating festival, all fans need to do is visit the CASA BACARDI tent, pick up a free move-tracking band, and then shake, shuffle and shimmy to all their favourite artists. When they’re ready for a break (or an ice cold refreshment), they can return to the BACARDI area to exchange those moves for things like costumes, festival gear, merch, backstage passes, music equipment, Masterclass lessons in music mixing, and even a personal limo ride to skip the rush home.
BACARDI will also be featuring the best moves captured at each festival day on their social feed, encouraging music fans everywhere (with the help of a few influencers) to “Do What Moves You.”
