BBDO New York's new innovation lets viewers create their own take on Major Lazer and Anitta's 'Make It Hot' track

Year after year, Bacardi has continued to prove itself as a brand leader in the innovative use of social media platforms to create fun and engaging content that encourages consumers to Do What Moves You – both physically and emotionally.

Following the success of previous award-winning innovations such as Instagram’s Instant DJ and Live Moves, the global spirits brand is up to it again following the launch of its new summer campaign, 'Pass the Beat.' This time, BACARDÍ is hacking YouTube with The Beat Machine.

Created by BBDO New York, The Beat Machine transforms the underused keyboard “fast forward” feature on YouTube into a digital sound board and editing table. Using numbers 1 to 10 on their keyboard and the Beat Machine video, hosted on Bacardi USA’s YouTube page, viewers can create their own take on Major Lazer and Anitta’s 'Make It Hot' track and music video – which first made its debut in the Pass the Beat summer spot.
