Recognised for redefining health strategy with empathy, impact and unmissable creativity – marking a standout first year for one of health’s boldest new agencies

Atomic Matter’s co-founder and head of strategy, Frankie Everson, has been named a 2025 Clio Health Champion, just one year on from launching Atomic Matter – recognising her outstanding contributions to creativity and innovation in healthcare marketing.

Selected by the Muse by Clio editorial team, Frankie is one of only a handful of industry leaders spotlighted globally this year.

The Clio Health Champions programme celebrates individuals who are not only raising the bar creatively but are also pushing the healthcare industry forward with empathy, innovation and a clear sense of purpose. Frankie's selection follows a standout 12 months, where she has helped shape Atomic Matter into one of the most exciting new agencies in the sector.

Frankie's leadership has been central to Atomic Matter’s rapid success. In its first year alone, the agency won Agency of the Year at the PM Society Awards, landed 6 new clients, and picked up multiple awards for an attention-grabbing COPD education campaign.

Her unique career journey – from leading health strategy at agencies like BBH and VCCP Health to co-founding Atomic Matter – has always been marked by a relentless drive to challenge the status quo.

Reflecting on the recognition, Natalie Enniks, co-founder and managing director at Atomic Matter, said, “Frankie is one of the most talented and tenacious strategists any of us have ever worked with. She’s a creative force, a natural leader, and someone who truly cares – about people, about patients, and about making work that has a lasting impact. The Clio Health Champion title couldn’t be more deserved.”

Commenting on the honour, Frankie Everson said, “I’m incredibly grateful to be named a Clio Health Champion – especially alongside such inspiring figures in our industry. For me, it’s always been about making work that feels human. Work that puts people, not process, at the centre. If my story or our work at Atomic Matter can help open up even one more honest conversation in health, or make a patient feel seen, then that’s something worth showing up for every day.”

Frankie and her fellow honourees will be celebrated at the 2025 Clio Health Awards ceremony on Wednesday 11th June at Tribeca 360 in New York City. The full list was announced on Thursday 15th May on Muse by Clio, with individual profiles showcasing this year’s Champions.
