Asda is bringing the brand’s famous pocket tap back with a major new ad campaign featuring a new jingle and starring a real-life Asda family.
The ‘That’s Asda Price’ campaign, by Asda and AMV BBDO, launches Asda’s autumn rollback event featuring a £100m investment to lower prices on thousands of Asda’s own label and branded products across food, baby and toys.
The TV ad stars real-life family Sunny, Amy and their three kids. We follow Sunny and the rest of the family as they share their resourceful approach to making the most of every moment, all made possible through Asda’s great prices and affordable products. The campaign marks the return of the famous Asda pocket tap, which has been synonymous with great value since it first featured in its ads in 1977 and last appeared on screens in 2006.
The campaign will run across TV, print, digital, social and PR.
The new ‘That’s Asda Price’ ad campaign will launch on ITV on Friday, 4th September during an ad break for Lorraine and runs again later that evening during Soccer Aid.
