Arts & Letters Promotes 7 Leaders in its Connected Network
In its ongoing pursuit to design an agency shaped to support the evolving needs of the modern marketing world, Arts & Letters today announced seven exciting promotions to various director roles for long-tenured talent in NYC, Austin, Chicago and Richmond, VA.
The tie that binds these seven leaders is their outsized contributions in building and shaping the fabric of A&L to date. This is a crew of makers, a crew of dreamers, a crew who figures it out, day after day. Their impact will only grow in their new seats:
- Andrew Caturano to design director (formerly designer) working on Google and ESPN
- Arianna Grevious to business director (formerly business manager) working on Google
- Martin Madriaga to group business director (formerly business director) working on the agency’s full ESPN portfolio
- Tanner McColl to design director (formerly art director) working on ESPN, DICK’S Sporting Goods, HubSpot and Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- Whitney Schneden to creative director (formerly copywriter) working on DICK’S Sporting Goods
- Erin Shepherd to business director (formerly business manager) working on espnW, College Football on ESPN and NFL on ESPN
- Albert Song to creative director (formerly art director) working on DICK’S Sporting Goods
From the very beginning, Arts & Letters has aspired to build a company where the place works for the people and not the other way around. These promotions signal doubling down on the agency’s ongoing 'Work Together, Anywhere' operating model, which includes talent in 20 states.
Martin will join a burgeoning hub of NYC-area A&L talent, which now comprises more than 20% of the company’s staff.
Erin and Arianna have led some of the most important and impactful work that A&L has made in the last 12 months, and bring an infectious energy to the teams they will now lead.
Tanner and Andrew will help lead a revamped A&L design team setting an ambitious new mould across the partnerships.
Whitney and Albert continuously prove that creative partners can ambitiously set and constantly blow through new creative standards while living 1,500 miles apart from each other.

This round of promotions follows other recent appointments, when A&L elevated five creatives to creative directors. The agency is 150 people strong, working across brands including DICK’S Sporting Goods, ESPN, HubSpot, Google, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Zola.
