Luke Jaden earned a place in the 2023 SHOOT New Directors Showcase for his remarkable work for Ford and was also named Best New Filmmaker by Filmsupply

ArtClass has welcomed filmmaker Luke Jaden to its roster of breakthrough directorial talent. With a distinct ability to portray raw, delicate human experiences through an unobtrusive lens, Luke brings a poetic sensibility and emotional depth to both commercial and narrative filmmaking. His immersive approach often places him within moments that feel almost too intimate to capture—yet he does so with honesty, grace, and a constant drive to explore new visual languages and storytelling methods.

Luke earned a place in the 2023 SHOOT New Directors Showcase for his remarkable work for Ford and was also named Best New Filmmaker by Filmsupply. His autobiographical short “Hemingway”—a tender depiction of his son’s birth—was recognised on the Cannes YDA Shortlist and the 1.4 Longlist. Drawn to emotionally complex, sophisticated narratives, Luke blends visually arresting imagery with a meditative, visceral tone that resonates deeply with audiences. His work spans advertising, documentaries, and narrative shorts, including King Ripple starring LaKeith Stanfield, as well as his forthcoming feature film Animals of the Land.

Luke’s passion for honest, artfully crafted storytelling has naturally translated into impactful brand collaborations, including "Sisters" for ZARA Kids and "Exhaust" for Carhartt. His docu-short “Aya” was made in partnership with the Heroic Hearts Project (HHP) and highlights the benefits of psychedelic therapy for recovering veterans. Additional commercial credits include work for Dove, Bose, PETA, Honda, and Ford, as well as meaningful cause-driven projects for Sandy Hook Promise and Moms Demand Action.

“Kiki [Kirsten Arongino] is really what attracted me to ArtClass,” remarked Luke Jaden on signing. “The way she’s been able to foster emerging voices and help shepherd the next wave is inspiring. I can tell that her drive and precision in taking care of her directors, as her family, is what brought me here. To now be under her reign is what I’ve been imagining for my career, and I am excited to begin this new era with ArtClass!”

Kirsten Arongino, managing director of ArtClass, added, “We don’t have anyone on our roster like Luke. As a director, he slows down and invites the audience to zone in on these snapshots in time. Each of his films is told from hyper-specific perspectives, and he does an incredible job dropping his camera amid the action as naturalistically as possible. He’s a wildly talented director with a diverse range of experience, and we look forward to supporting every facet of his artistry at ArtClass!”
