Bicoastal visual effects studio ArsenalFX promotes Senior VFX Compositor Terry Silberman to Partner. Silberman is an 20+year industry veteran who has worked on commercial campaigns for top national brands including Pepsi, Gatorade, HBO, Nike and Mitsubishi to name a few. Most recently, Silberman worked as a Flame Artist on the hit viral campaign for smartwater, “The Jennifer Aniston Security Tapes,” featuring Aniston mocking recent baby bump rumors with a larger-than-life belly among other exaggerated “security tape” antics.
Notes Owner/Managing Director Mark Leiss, “Terry’s strength as an artist along with his dedication to family and community made this a very simple decision for me. I’m proud to continue the success of ArsenalFX with Terry’s increased involvement on our most important decisions.”
Silberman got his start in the VFX industry as a runner for a post house and quickly rose within the ranks, mastering linear and non-linear editing systems. Determined to learn as many aspects of post production as possible, Silberman moved into audio engineering where he began to design, edit and compose sound effects for major commercial projects. He continued in sound design until his company expanded into VFX. Silberman has since dedicated his talents to VFX and has become a master of all Autodesk platforms. Flint, Flame, Inferno, Smoke, Combustion, Nuke, PC, Mac, Photoshop and even Jaleo are among the platforms passionately embraced by Silberman.
