ANIMALS Signs Conor Byrne in Canada

ANIMALS is pleased to welcome acclaimed director Conor Byrne to its roster for commercial representation in Canada.

Conor began his commercial career as a buck-toothed kid in a bad car insurance spot. Since then, the filmmaker has found his place behind the camera and curated his signature style: a hearty mix of cinematic comedy, passion, and an eye for detail. He’s lent this warmth and humour to campaigns for the likes of NFL (starring Peyton Manning), NBA (starring Kevin Durant), Hershey’s, PepsiCo, IKEA, Skittles, and Microsoft, earning awards at Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, Effie, and The Shorty Awards.

Also a director of shorts, his films have played festivals worldwide and been recognised by Vimeo Staff Picks and Short of The Week. ‘PORZINGOD’, an ode to the New York Knicks starring John Leguizamo, was also featured on ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Indiewire, Filmmaker Magazine, as well as on the jumbotron at Madison Square Garden. 

Conor’s first debut feature film, based on his original screenplay and created in collaboration with his brother and producer Tyler, is currently in development.
