Momentum builds for An Post's initiative devised in collaboration with JWT Folk
Address Point, a new service created by JWT Folk for An Post has already ensured that 10% of Ireland’s homeless population now have permanent addresses. The ground-breaking initiative, which is in the running at Cannes, means homeless people can now avail of services such as healthcare, employment education and ironically housing. Ireland’s national postal service An Post has rolled out the initiative across Ireland, with the figure of 10% coming just eight weeks after launch.
Speaking about the initiative, joint managing director at JWT Folk, Enda Kelly said: “Since Address Point exploded on the Irish market we have received such fantastic feedback on the initiative. By providing a digital proxy address linked to a local post office, Address Point is helping to break the cycle of homelessness. We are delighted that the homeless community in Ireland have engaged with the service is such high numbers, with new users being added every day since launch.”
