AMV BBDO Proves 'There's a Gadget for That' in New Currys PC World Idents
AMV BBDO has created six new idents for Currys PC World to celebrate their sponsorship of Channel 5’s The Gadget Show. The films will air on 15th April 2016 and will continue to run for future seasons. The idents will be featured on Channel 5, Demand 5, The Gadget Show and Currys PC World’s YouTube channels.
The six sponsorship idents portray simple scenes of unfortunate, domestic mishaps. The humorous little moments are filmed in an intimate style and in one shot. They all end with a line that reads, “There’s a gadget for that” before revealing a suitable gadget that effectively acts as an antidote for the occurrence.
Currys PC World believes that the best gadgets in life are the ones that serve a purpose, that solve an everyday customer need. In celebrating the utility of these gadgets, the idents seek to position Currys PC World as a brand that not only understands tech but one that can find customers the right gadgets to match their everyday needs.
