Digital content series also launches new TikTok channel

After Party Studios has announced that they have scored a second season of digital content production for the League of '72 channel and socials for Sky Bet and the EFL (English Football League).

This will now also incorporate a newly launched TikTok channel, which has attracted one million likes in the first week of launch, in addition to the existing YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram and X channel content.

The fast-paced and fun-packed branded entertainment sees five of the most culturally relevant creators in the footballing space - PK Humble, Billy Wingrove, Manny, StevoTheMadMan & James Allcot go behind the scenes to take on EFL clubs from up and down the country in a range of entertaining formats and challenges.

It comes after the huge success of the first season, which doubled the amount of completely new viewers coming to the League of ‘72 YouTube channel, amassing over 12 million views, 13 million impressions and 750k engagements along the way.

Already confirmed for the 24/25 season are visits to Bramall Lane with Sheffield United’s star man Gustavo Hamer, as well as Blackburn Rovers’ Todd Cantwell, plus a trip to Bromley FC, recently promoted to the EFL after a 132 year absence. Challenges including the much-loved LEVELs, How’s Your Touch and First Time Fan will make a welcome return with new strand The Induction.

Joshua Barnett, managing director at After Party Studios, “We’re delighted to be adding TikTok to the League of ‘72 social stable and we’re pumped to have passed one million views in just a week since launch. Our goal has always been to give the EFL’s brilliant 72 clubs the spotlight they deserve through creating fresh, culturally relevant content that viewers want to share with their mates and we couldn’t do it without Sky Bet and the EFL’s incredible support.”

Kevin Brain, head of content and publishing at Sky Bet says, “We were keen to put a new spin on some of the tremendous access we get through our partnership with the EFL, and APS really delivered last season with new strands and formats to grow the channel.  We’re really excited to see where we can take it with them this season.
