Creative production company After Party Studios have today announced the appointment of Sam Ewen in the newly-created role of head of entertainment and Ayesha Mittal as executive producer. Ewen will be responsible for spearheading the business’s continued growth in entertainment whilst Mittal will lead both original and branded entertainment projects, connecting with audiences on every platform.
Sam joins After Party Studios after six years at The Wall of Entertainment, where as head of entertainment he amassed over 1 billion views through developing and overseeing hit series including Channel 4.0’s Tapped Out, Minor Issue and Harry Pinero’s Worst In Class and Pretty Little Thing’s The Pink Courtroom and Love Lessons. He works closely with the UK’s biggest digital talent including Nella Rose, Chloe Burrows, Chunkz and Niko Omilana.
Filmmaker Ayesha joins the business from award-winning production company Raw (Tinder Swindler, Sweet Bobby) where she was a development producer. She was formerly senior creative and director at Buzzfeed for 7 years where she led their branded content campaigns, working with global brands like Sky, Absolut, Maltesers and Netflix.
The appointments follow a bumper year for After Party Studios with the recently launched Channel 4.0 comedy panel series Hear Me Out with Specs Gonzalez, over 72 million+ views and a recommission for their Sky Sports YouTube docuseries SCENES and two seasons of their hugely successful branded entertainment series League of ‘72 for Sky Bet and the EFL as well as Munya Chawawa’s ad for Revolut.
