The ADVERTISING Club of New York has announced the opening of its Long Island Chapter. Focused on programming tailored to the unique needs of the LI marketing and advertising community, the chapter will provide professionals across the advertising, media and marketing industries access to networking and educational opportunities -- backed by the resources and reputation of the 117-year-old organization. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate and retain more talent in the region, give back to the community, and engage local universities and talent development centers, including Hofstra’s Zarb School of Business.
To kick off the launch of the new chapter, a survey has been released in partnership with LI-based agency Slightly Mad Communications, to gauge the community’s pulse and help guide the establishment of a local club that successfully unites, serves, and engages its constituents. The first study will serve as a benchmark for future comparison; a version of the study will be launched annually.
