Curation of the fourth edition of The Monthly Cut is underway and it’s not too late for your work to be considered for inclusion. If you’ve been part of a project that aired, launched or appeared for the first time in July then you can still make ‘the Cut’.
The creative excellence initiative from Little Black Book and The Immortal Awards sees a curated reel of the best in global commercial creativity delivered directly to LBB’s Standard and Premium members every month.
The third edition - The Monthly Cut 003 - went live at the start of July, featuring work for Beats, Channel 4, Telstra, Brittany Ferries, Oura and Huggies, from the likes of Leo Worldwide, 4creative, Object and Animal, McCann Bristol, Bear Meets Eagle on Fire and Motion Sickness.
A creative council, composed of industry leaders from the brand, agency and craft worlds, will be curating the work that features on the reel. The current council includes McCann Worldgroup’s Harjot Singh, IPG’s Susan Credle, MullenLowe’s Jose Miguel Sokoloff and many more (you can see everyone on the current creative council here).
Work from all Little Black Book members is eligible for inclusion and any project that launched globally from July 1st 2025 could feature on this month’s reel. Any work that is published on the platform from July 31st onwards will be part of the next edition.
If your work has been covered as a news story on Little Black Book then it will have been reviewed by our team and is under consideration.
If you’ve uploaded eligible work into your Creative Library on LBB then please send the URLs over to themonthlycut@lbbonline.com by Thursday 31st July to guarantee that the team has seen it.
To ensure your work is considered for the next edition of The Monthly Cut it will need to be uploaded onto Little Black Book, either as part of a news story or into the Creative Library, by Thursday 31st July.
To upload work to the Creative Library, simply log into Little Black Book and head to My LBB. From there, click on WORK and then ADD NEW WORK. This video explains How to Upload Work to LBB.
Once your work is uploaded please send the URL(s) over to themonthlycut@lbbonline.com by Thursday 31st July to guarantee that the team has seen it.
Selecting the work that makes ‘the Cut’ will be a rotating quarterly council of industry experts, alongside Little Black Book’s managing editors Addison Capper (Americas), Alex Reeves (EMEA), Brittney Rigby (AUNZ), and Laura Swinton Gupta (Global), CEO Matt Cooper, and head of creative excellence Paul Monan. Check out the guest curators for the next three editions here.
The Monthly Cut 004 will be available to all Standard and Premium members in August.
All Standard and Premium members should have received an e-mail at the start of July with information on how to access The Monthly Cut 003.
If you are a Little Black Book member on the Basic tier then you will need to upgrade your membership to receive The Monthly Cut.
