Zulu Alpha Kilo promotes from within to round out their executive team and position the agency for the industry’s rapidly changing landscape.
Christine McNab has been promoted to the post of chief operating officer where she will oversee the agency's operations, driving efficiency, and contributing to its strategic growth and creative success. Christine joined Z.A.K. two years ago as the agency’s first ever chief marketing officer. Along with her new responsibilities, Christine will maintain leadership of new business activities. She will also be joining the agency's Executive Leadership Team.
Throughout her 20-year career, Christine has built a reputation as a business leader, strategic partner to her clients and relationship builder on brands such as Kraft, LCBO, GSK, Diageo, Dole, and Rogers to name a few. Christine joined Z.A.K. from independent agency Rain where she was President for the three years. Prior to Rain, she held senior roles at Publicis, FCB and Grey.
“Christine has played a key role in our success and growth these past two years. With her skillset and many contributions externally with clients and internally with process, moving into the COO role was a natural evolution,” said president & CEO, Mike Sutton.
Kelly Flynn will be moving into the role of marketing & communications director. The long-time Zuligan will join forces with Christine to support new business, agency marketing & PR, and to lead the agency’s social media channels.
Also joining the Executive Leadership Team is Christina Hill who has been with the agency for seven years. In that time her responsibilities at Z.A.K. have evolved in the role of creative operations director. In her evolved role, Christina will be expanding her workflow and operations expertise beyond the creative team into new disciplines to set the conditions across the agency for teams to do world class work.
Sean Bell moves from executive strategy director to executive director, comms planning & technology. In addition to leading Communications Planning, Sean will be forming a new group that will guide the agency’s efforts to strategically integrate AI tools across all disciplines. He will also continue to lead Zulumatic, the agency’s media arm, in partnership with head of media, Alicia Petralia.
Laura Dubcovsky will be moving into the role of executive producer. Laura will continue to lead award-winning work and expand her responsibilities to play a larger role in training & mentoring of new producers and helping to improve and codify processes in the year ahead.
Sylvia Stultz is moving into the role of global head of talent attraction. Sylvia has been with the agency for the past two years leading recruitment as Z.A.K. has expanded into New York and Vancouver.
