Zooey Deschanel Twirls with Canada in New She & Him Promo

She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward dance like nobody’s watching in a dreamy new music video for their latest single, ‘Stay Awhile’.

Barcelona-based directing collective Canada (repped by Directors Bureau in North America and Canada London/Riff Raff in the UK) has whipped up beautifully choreographed music video that sees Deschanel and Ward dance with invisible partners and play invisible instruments. A mixture of smart choreography, physical performance and directorial trickery sees Deschanel dip and spin through a suburban home with an invisible partner.

The promo is the first for ukulele-infused indie duo She & Him’s new LP ‘Classics’, an album of retro cover songs, and is also the first She & Him video since the Zooey Deschanel-directed outing 'I Could've Been Your Girl'.
