Students of the non-profit organisation Brixton Finishing School, in collaboration with House 337, are teaming up with Brixton-based London Beer Lab to help young creatives gain exposure at London’s top agencies.
The idea is simple.
Breaking into the creative industries is a major challenge for underrepresented groups. It’s near impossible for students to get their work in the hands of agency decision-makers. But, one thing that’s easy to get into those same hands? Beer. That’s why the work of Brixton Finishing School students will feature on the labels of every House Beer can.
House 337 are looking for agencies to switch out the beer they purchase for office events to the one crafted through this partnership. In doing so, these agencies will be helping to raise funds for Brixton Finishing School and provide a platform for underrepresented talent to showcase their work.
Why you should get involved:
- Support young creatives: The beer cans will feature custom labels designed by students from the Brixton Finishing School, offering them exposure to creative decision-makers.
- Social value: Every can sold will contribute to creating job opportunities for these young talents.
- Sustainability and local support: By partnering with an independent local brewery, we're reducing our carbon footprint and bolstering the local economy.
- DE&I and talent recruitment: This initiative is a testament to your commitment to DE&I and provides a fresh pool of talent for recruitment.
- Promoting your support: Founder agencies will be prioritised in all communications. Get your business in front of new talent and connect with the industry, all while doing good for the next generation.
The ask:
Pledge to become a founder agency: They are seeking ‘founder agencies’ willing to commit to a quarterly subscription, ordering at least 48 cans per quarter. Each can costs as little as £2 (including VAT) - about the same as a Neck Oil, with 25p per can being donated to the Brixton Finishing School.
