Pulse Films director Arthur Studholme unveils his latest work for Yorkshire Tea. ‘A better brew for the planet’ champions sustainability in the home.
The commercial is centred around the tongue in cheek invention of a ‘one brew kettle’ to solve the age old problem of boiling more water than you need.
The creative agency behind the work is Lucky Generals.
Since signing with Pulse Films, Arthur has quickly shown his prowess in comedy direction, gaining incredible momentum and becoming most in demand directors in the category. His 30 second ad for Bother was the centrepiece of the ‘Don't Let Cupboard Control Your Life' Campaign by Heart & Minds. The key to Arthur’s brilliance in this space comes from his inherent eye for performance and dropping seemingly everyday people into seemingly everyday scenarios before things gain momentum and they’re thrust into ever increasingly bizarre and funny situations. In late September, the YDA Gold winner directed a series of commercials for Gumtree. The campaign titled ‘Good Finds’ from Wieden + Kennedy used Studholme's signature comedic style, which continues to prove highly effective.
